08/29/02 Well, I have a rough scheme down for the new message board. It's functional, so lets test it. Yes, there are fish. They will go away soon. The theme is a *highly* modified version of the "Blue Lagoon" template. I want to start getting some accounts registered and set up the moderators. Go ahead and log in, register, and if you're a mod, I'll set ya up. Of course, any one else is welcome to post, too. =) Feel free to submit bugs, make suggestions, make requests on forums or where you'd like to moderate, etc. There are no posts whatsoever as of this update, I wonder who'll be first? I have e-mail accounts set up too, and the web based server is up. Mods, I'll let you all know the login and server info as soon as I talk to you next. I'm just working on setting up my own web based interface that I can customize to work with the blue thing that's going on here. The yellow one up now is terrible, and I can't change it! Also, more spiffy graphics on the way that will look far nicer than the ones up now. I'm a member of S.T.A.R.S.! 08/24/02 Thursday the 22 would have been the birthday of Layne Staley, former lead singer for Alice in Chains. My music has always been influenced heavily by Alice in Chains and by harmony of Layne's and Jerry Cantrell's vocals. I guess this is sorta my birthday present to Layne. There's a really nice tribute page over at http://laynestaleytribute.com/. I'm going to try and get a new update out every Saturday now, to get into the swing of things. The next comic will be soon. A little more work on the board and maybe some of the cast page and I'm going to finally launch! Happy birthday, Layne. Thanks.
