This is just a simple, short cover of Brinstar from Metroid. There's a much better version I'm working on (which mixes in some Kid Icarus!), but it seems I'll need better software and hardware before my system can handle that version. I remember working at Software Etc. (now Gamestop) in the days leading up to the release of Quake II. There was a promotional video that looped this music over and over, and it would get stuck in my head all day. One day, after a few weeks of this, I decided to try recording it to get it out of my head. When the game came out, I was really happy to find this song actually in the game so I could compare from what I had recorded from memory. Turns out my version's a little faster and higher pitched.

This piece is a remix of "Guardia Kingdom Millennial Fair" from the game Chrono Trigger. It was always one of my favorite songs, and for that matter, favorite games. =)
